15+ years of experience in harm reduction and drug analysis.

Daniel is a chemist with over 15 years of experience in harm reduction, drug analysis, and the chemistry of psychoactive substances. He holds an MSc in Chemistry and is completing a PhD focused on the toxicology, synthesis, and analysis of new psychoactive substances (NPS). He co-founded Kosmicare, where he coordinates the drug checking program and leads the development of drug monitoring tools. Daniel has provided consultancy to NGOs, governments, universities, companies, and the EMCDDA, and is currently a consultant for the Pompidou Group.

Two decades of formal and informal harm reduction work.

Rafael has been working with harm reduction formally and informally for two decades. Starting his career in Brazil, Rafael's trajectory has led him to move to Spain and includes working at organizations such as Energy Control in Spain, other smaller local nightlife harm reduction projects as well as being a moderator at online drug-related discussion forums and other. Currently Rafael is the lab coordinator at Kykeon Analytics where he oversees the drug checking program in field interventions as well as the mail-in drug checking program.

PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on bioactive compounds.

Steffen is a scientist with nearly two decades of experience in natural product research, psychedelics, and harm reduction. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Biology) with a focus on bioactive compounds from cyanobacteria. His expertise spans analytical chemistry, substance testing, and consulting, blending scientific rigour with cultural awareness and public health priorities. As co-owner of a professional medicinal mushroom cultivation business, he brings additional experience in mycology, sustainability, and education.
